I’ve used almost all the doTERRA blends now and the Citrus Bliss Invigorating Blend is probably the one I’ve used the most. Personally, I love all the citrus oils, so the fact that this blend is a combination of several citrus oils works for me.

For those not familiar with doTERRA blends, they have a series of essential oils that have been blended by their aromatherapists to make a blend. These blends a lot more powerful than individual oils and allow them to make a blend that can treat certain health conditions.

Lifting Your Mood – The main purpose of this blend is to ‘invigorate’. This means lifting your mood and putting that pep back into your step. The blend of carefully chosen oils that are known to help improve moods, reduce the effects and feelings of stress, and give you a pick-me-up.

Fragrance – The aroma of this oil is simply divine. The combination of citrus oils come together to make a smooth, fruity, and fresh smelling aroma. You can rub a little on your wrists, diffuse around the home, and even add a couple of drops to your dryer sheets.

Cleaning – Adding a couple of drops to your cleaning sponge and giving your kitchen sides the final wipe down with a little Citrus Bliss. There are few fragrances that smell cleaner than citrus’ like lemon or orange.

How to Use doTERRA Citrus Bliss Essential Oil

Citrus Bliss is an uplifting and invigorating blend. You may have your own preferred methods of use, but some of the best methods I use are as follows:

Topical Use – Mix a couple of drops with a little fractionated coconut oil or another carrier oil before using to minimize skin sensitivity. Massage gently into the desired area to enjoy benefits from the aroma. It’s a great lotion for a hand massage or rubbing on your wrists.

Diffusion – I love diffusing oils, especially oils that have a strong and pleasant aroma like this citrus blend. Just add a few drops of oil and some water and let your diffuser do all the work, you can breathe in the benefits while at home or at work.

Laundry – This oil is one of the best for giving laundry a lovely fresh smell. Add a drop or two to a dryer sheet and you will see what I mean.

In Summary

Citrus Bliss is a citrus party all wrapped up in one bottle. Lemon and Orange in particular are incredibly popular oils and have a wide range of health benefits and practical uses, so having these plus more in the same blend is awesome.

It’s hard to put into words how it lifts a mood and makes you feel. I love diffusing this late at night when I’m working or unwinding, it gives me a nice warm feeling and smells like a bunch of fresh, sweet fruits.

I don’t have a bad word to say about any of the doTERRA blends. Each bottle delivers a blend expertly crafted and works exactly as advertised. I recommend picking up a bottle, you’ll find dozens of reasons to use it and will not be disappointed.

This is an interesting video showing the use of Citrus Bliss and other doTERRA oils being used in a hospital. 84% of the doctors and nurses in the hospital say that the oils contributed to a better, calmer, and more enjoyable atmosphere in the hospital.

Also, before using the oils 41% of the workers said they felt stressed, with only 3% saying the same after the oils.

60% were frustrated while at work before the use of oils. With only 6% still saying they were frustrated after.

Pretty strong evidence from studies conducted within the medical profession. If you still had any doubts about how powerful and effective this blend is this should put your skepticism to bed.
