5 Radha Rosehip Oil Uses and Benefits for This Awesome Oil

Rosehip oil is one of the more remarkable and commonly used oils across a wide range of cosmetic products and moisturizers.

It’s right up there with coconut oil as one of the best oils for skin and hair care.

I’m currently using Radha Rosehip Oil (as well as the Radha Lavender oil I talked about here). Which is why I’m highlighting some of the Radha Rosehip oil uses they recommend and I’ve found, in this article.

If you’re new to Rosehip and want to know more, take a look at some of the following points. It has loads of useful applications, it’s not expensive, it’s easy to use, and I can’t say enough good things about it!

Radha Rosehip Oil Uses

Treating Dandruff

If you suffer from dry flaky skin and aren’t happy with your anti-dandruff shampoo/treatments, then moisturizing your scalp with rosehip oil might be the solution.

Rich in vitamin C and essential fatty acids, Rosehip oil nourishes the scalp and reduces dry skin.

Try massaging a couple of drops into your scalp, leave it for a few minutes before rinsing out. It smells great too which is an added bonus.

Reducing Acne

It feels like there is no end of treatments for acne, and the reality is that most do not work. Our skin is very delicate and everyone reacts differently to different treatments.

I always favor natural products over man-made though and use a little rosehip or lavender oil when I feel or notice a flare upcoming.

You can apply Radha Rosehip oil directly by rubbing a couple of drops in your hand and massaging your skin. Or use with your regular moisturizer.

Anti-Aging Properties

Rosehip oil is used in aromatherapy and cosmetics for its anti-aging properties. It’s rich in vitamins C and A which stimulate collagen production, as well as antioxidants.

Collagen is an important protein that is responsible for a lot of structures in our bodies, most notably helping to keep skin supple.

This results in your skin looking and feeling younger. Rosehip oil is by no means a miracle cure to help you look younger, but give it a try and I’m sure you’ll notice a difference.

Reducing Acne Scarring/Skin Blemishes

As well as reducing acne one of the most common applications for Rosehip oil is to reduce acne scarring and skin blemishes.

As previously mentioned, being rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins the oil is very effective at nourishing and repairing skin.

Massage just as you would a moisturizer first and the last thing at night for a few days and you should start to notice a difference.

You can also reduce blemishes, stretch marks, and the appearance of fine lines.

Dry or Dull Hair

If you feel like your hair is lacking shine and feeling a bit dull then try massaging some rosehip oil into your hair before washing it.

Not only are all the properties in the oil great for the health and look of your hair, sometimes you just need to mix it up for your body to respond.

In Summary

Radha Rosehip Oil is a great natural alternative for your current moisturizer. It may even be the solution to some of the problems you’re having with your skin too.

It’s rich in fatty acids and vitamins which helps to nourish and repair your skin, and when rubbing products into my skin I always opt for natural over the chemically processed options out there.

Why not pick up a bottle and give it a try. Just simply add a few drops to your favorite moisturizer if that’s your preference, or just use directly as per the instructions on the bottle for full effect.

You should start seeing and feeling the results in a few days. Feel free to drop back and let me know how you get on, I’m always happy to discuss and compare results and opinions.
