How Does Raindrop Therapy Work?
Raindrop therapy involves the therapist dropping essential oils along a patient’s spine. In some instances on the feet and legs too, but the technique is primarily applied to the spine. Sessions can last up to an hour, and combine a few principles into one technique for maximum therapeutic and health benefits.
The oils are dropped from around 5” away from the spine. It feels like raindrops landing on your spine, hence the name. There is a combination of the feeling of the oils hitting the skin, the techniques used by the therapist, and the properties of the chosen oils.
